- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪They offer attentive service and are family owned. Somehow they manage to offer many products at cheaper prices than Tractor Supply and Murdoch's! The chicken feed and the permethrin powder I use are $1 cheaper here than at the big name stores! How do they do it? Not everything is cheaper (egg cartons and diatomaceous earth are more expensive here), but supporting a local family-owned business means a lot to me. I live ~1/2 mile from Murdoch's, but I make a slightly farther drive (~3.5 miles) to give Country Corner my business. You should do the same! Also, at Murdoch's, the "animal expert", Randy, has flat out lied to me and my neighbor when he wasn't knowledgeable.
